Ya kno, I thought this was a really underrated, fun album and have been relatively hyped for the new record, but I've literally just realized how similar they sound to Morbid Angel's last album.



Since I reviewed that one negatively, it feels a little hypocritical to enjoy these new Hate Eternal tracks doesn't it? I mean, I'm hoping the full album will reveal why it works as opposed to Kingdoms Disdained, but it's a little confusing to me right now.

Someone in lastfm commented Rutan sabotaged the new Morbid Angel so Hate Eternal's latest sounds a tad better, and I'm starting to think it's not too far from the truth lol
