it's a frustrating site... cause pretty much no one takes it seriously and so you go to follow a blog that you think is pretty cool and then suddenly PORN or POLITICS or OTHER TOTALLY UNRELATED THINGS

listened to this and turn on the bright lights last night. i gotta say, it's hard not to draw comparisons. this is like the diet-cola version of interpol. their music used to be so layered and beautiful and subtextual and this doesn't even come remotely close

exactly. look at these songs then look at how distinct all the songs from TOTBL are. this should've been their first album, and TOTBL should've been their fifth
