There was no way that thing could give any impression whatsoever that BMTH would become the band they are now from that.

that they're a crappy band?

better to be a satirical crappy band then a crappy band that thinks they are really good tbh

Idk if we should be defending either though. Satire done shittily is definitely still subject to and deserving of criticism.

Just because it's satirical doesn't change the fact that it's really poorly written, sounds rushed and is only really funny because of their costumes and not the music itself. i.e pretty unlistenable imo

We can't all worship mediocre noise records and hate everything, or whatever

Guys, just quickly.

1.This is a joke review for a joke album.

2. Buuuuuuuut......... in saying that.

3. I think this album is poorly written. The songs are very basic, the band are all over the place in terms of cohesiveness as a unit, the lyrics aren't even trying and the whole thing sounds forced.

4. I don't think the gimmick is that ammusing outside of their outfits.

5. It reminds me of a young band just starting out, which isn't a good thing in this case.

6. It's obvious that the musicians are either a) still beginners in their respective arts b) looking to stir a quick giggle and hastily rushed this out when they came up with the idea or c), and this is unlikely to be the case/is entirely subjective: are just not very talented yet and need to keep trying.

7. For these reasons, I think it's awful.

Though this indeed is not the worst thing I've ever heard, I'm still gonna have to respectfully disagree.
