Screw y'all this is fun as hell.

And this is coming from someone who really didn't care for The Poison at all.

Between this and "Temper, Temper", they are the worst of the scene band Bullet For My Valentine. They have never been more than a meh derivative hard rock band. Meh vocals, 0-0-0s and shitty lyrics. The Poison and Scream, Aim, Fire are the only albums that have one song on it that is actually decent enough to listen to.

every song starts with a fast riff and double bass drumming and then goes into a verse with some shitty rhyme like "your dreams are dead i'm in your head" or something yada yada yada rinse repeat then the album's over

I LOVED 'The Poison' - no shame, I absolutely adored that thing - probably just an age thing, and how I was just getting into metal and learning the guitar at the time.

This is definitely more of a return to form but I'm conflicted - knowing of so much better metal out there just confirms that maybe they were never THAT great in the first place because this just isn't doing a great deal for me.

Definitely still a good album, and as mentioned before it's quite fun, but without a miraculous change in fortune, they'll never release an album that will do for me what 'The Poison' did.

Will never understand people's infatuation with The Poison; it's average at best. This, however, kicks a fair amount of ass.

You can't go into a review criticizing it because of other albums, you sound completely bias towards them just because of temper temper. 2.5 is far from what this album really is. Though the review was funny, it's very spotty.
