Around 16 ago I was sat in the pub with me mates discussing the quality of the Pixies. I offered that a band needed to offer a short sharp shock. Go for the throat, leave no prisoners there needed to be a new 'The....' Band.
Shortly after ATDI swanned in thinking they were the shit but stunk of poser. Then The Strokes came and went and a billion bullshit others were shat out.
Frank has served up exactly what I was after 16yrs ago. Ta pal.

Nice to see Frank pissed and his element again.

Good lad Plebster. Thing totally rules. I checked to see if he is doing live dates but he's attached himself to some Kerrrang load of toss where blink 182 or some such nonsense are headlining, may even be Sum 41. Fucking ridiculous.
|
| |
Yeah hopefully they do a joint headline small venue tour in the future.

The venue is small, the bands are shite. Have you seen Frank before Plebster? Gallows era or this time round?

Best gig I've ever been to I think. So if you get chance to see him, do it.

Downer, all UK shows are sold out but on the plus side I double checked and it's definitely Sum 41 who are playing so at least they'll survive the heckling of a lifetime I'd give 'em and I won't blow out me vocal chords.

haha! Yeah, tbh, I made sure I got right on the tour this year, because I knew it wouldn't take long before he blew up and did larger venues. I wanted to see him in a down and dirty pub/club and that's exactly what I got.
Weird he's playing with bands like that, but it'll certainly build a bigger following.

300 people drenched in sweat, intoxicated by the energy and excitement as Frank howls out his soul to those all connected in their purpose as the band play like its the last night on Earth and create a palpable electricity in which 300 souls feed.....and then upstep Sum 41.

Maybe he's amused by going to play to a load of people who won't know what to expect and will be like 'what the fuck was that'. and if some of them decide they like it and check out more then great

its weird that Sum 41 are still popular, watching that kerrang and scuzz tv channels youd think it was still the 2000s and pop punk was at its peak still.
i so wanted to see these guys at the Owl Sanctuary in Norwich, tiny little venue would of been amazing but its sold out

I take it is named after the "cracking" one that Alan Partridge frequents.

I went years ago and dicked about on a canal boat for a bit. Can't really remember the place. I just immediately think Colemans mustard, Partridge and inter-breeding.
