Yes! Another killjoy lol. 3 cheers holds a special place in my heart cuz it was one of my first albums.

I would agree that Save Yourself is awesome and a top-10 MCR song without a doubt.
Also, as far as editing goes, take out the word "one" at the end of your summary; it's unnecessary and sounds redundant.

album's pretty thoroughly flawed but I have such a blast listening to it, and in that way i love it. but nowhere near as good as 3 cheers or black parade.
fav song on here might be Kids from yesterday, summertime, or Only hope. the conventional weapons songs are almost all better than every track on this album tho

Still don't get the hate for this album. Its a conceptually good

But it's not. It's tacky, inconsistent, and contains their worst material musically; Scarecrow still makes me cringe just thinking about it. Black Parade on the other hand is quite possibly 2/3 poor songs away from being a perfect record.

Could be just me, but when The Black Parade was such a game-changer and this is daring to be different, the trigger reflex of the average fickle teenager just couldn't handle it.
Very strong record, but I don't think QUITE as good as the former.

Idk I think Danger Days was a game changer for me. They took a risk with this album by trying something different and it worked. Black parade has its share of bad songs too. I cringe evetytime I hear "I don't love you"

"They took a risk with this album by trying something different and it worked"
Eh not really. Both Three Cheers and Black Parade were critically acclaimed and went Platinum in the US, Canada and the UK (Black Parade went Double Platinum in the UK). Dangers Days has only gone Gold and only in 3 countries, excluding the US and Canada. Factually speaking, this album was a huge disappointment both in reception and sales.

Yeah its true this album didn't sell good compared to their other ones. But I think the reason for that is because Its so different that it kind of just scared people away. They prefer the dark moody MCR. Which is fine but not much room for creativity if they just stick to one concept.

See I fundamentally disagree with that. The image they put out on this record was different but right down the pipe of their legions of Hot Topic fans. Album had the punk image, could have easily been a hit, but behind all the costumes and glitter the music has to be good and this simply isn't.
Edit: I'm gonna listen to this this afternoon to see if it's as bad or even worse than I remembered.

Not gonna lie. I was kind of put off by this album too the first time I heard it. But it only took a few more listens for it to really sink in
