I have the first album at 3.5, what's the problem?

Does 2.0 for this automatically mean I'm kidding about the first album or is it really that hard to understand that I can like the debut and not like this one?

5 = classic
4 = excellent
3 = good
2 = poor
1 = awful

Hey easy, I don't want you to get you angry Jethro (and e210013 and smaugman while we're at it), but you also have to be less inscecure about me not liking the stuff you love. I didn't come into this topic saying "THIS ALBUM SUCKS!!!", I didn't even mention it. I only said that their DEBUT is GREAT and recommended listening to it.

Why do you even bother with my rating? You already know (at least I hope so) that I'm not trolling, so why notice it out loud every time? Unless you want to discuss this album's merits, then of course I'm open for discussion.

I don't get people that give low ratings only cause by sputnik "official" standards a 3.0 is good it just ends up lowering the average of an album that by your criteria you actually enjoy



I prefer to see the ratings as stars (3 stars, 4 stars, etc) and if I'm not sure on giving an album a 3.0 or a 3.5 I prefer to go with the 3.5



I also don't get that people that only have like two or three 5.0's, I'm not that strict on giving them since I don't think there's a 100% perfect album out there

@altertide; I'm not angry...A little frustrated because I cannot express myself like I'd want to do (English can be a bitch for me especially when I'm emotive). I have nothing against you personally and I know that you're not trolling, but I dunno man, everytime I meet you, you throw some repulsive ratings to my eyes.

I never listened to their first album. I don't doubt it should be a great album (I listened to their second one and gave it a 3 that could change for a 3.5. I need to relisten.

But I mean, come on...Song for Schéhérazade is a masterpiece. According to your Soundoff, you have something against the epic t/t song...I mean what the fuck. Ocean Gypsy is perfect. Everything is eargasmic in here. And you keep on giving ratings that I'd place the other way around too often. My 5 are your 1, and my 1 are your five, so to speak.

It's like we both pretty much dig the same music (or at least we meet each other frequently in the same threads), but it seems that I just have to close my eyes on your ratings if I wanna be able to speak to you and keep on taking you seriously no matter what.
