I see a whole other argument started. I think Nas is better, and Illmatic is better than this, but that's not to discredit this album, as in my opinion, they're both top 5 all time best hip hop albums.

this album always bored the hell out of me. never did like biggie despite being an east coast guy for a long time. actually i just straight up don't like a lot of 90s hip hop outside of Common and the Roots and shit like that. And Nas ofc.
