Despite the fact that Soulfly never exactly shone as one of the leaders of the nu metal scene and never had that much success compared to other bands of the time, it's interesting that Jumpdafuckup is still seen as one of the quinessential nu metal songs, although a lot of casual fans seem to mistake it for a Slipknot song because of Corey Taylor.

Oh and count me on for the "Primitive was one of the first albums I heard when getting into metal" crowd. The slightly odd time signature on Son Song definitely caught me off when I first listened to it.
