i'm hoping it's the same type of spoken word that decay had

i mean burn is the farthest they take it, mostly it's just odd one liners and stuff
i was thinking it just came right out of the blue too but then i relistened to decay and realized they'd done it before

I still need to listen to this many more times before I rate it, but I'm thinking it will be a 4 as well. Love the album and love this band! This album needs more love on this site!

big stepdown for the band. Musically not even close to previous albums. The first 3 songs are pretty boring guitar-wise. Second half is much stronger

The spoken word bits are seriously lame. Too bad because I've always loved his vocals otherwise.
Will have to give this a proper spin soon.

The spoken word bits are different. I don't like how they overdubbed his vocals. I think that's why it sounds weird.
Same producer as TDBHAH though. Will Putney. Jay Maas from Defeater produced The Currents Will Carry Us, which unlike most Counterparts fans, that's my fav album of theirs.
