I feel like this album would be a little bit better if they cut Hibernation and just started it off with Exit Fears

Hibernation is kind of unnecessary, but overall the record is pretty sweet and the songs sound a lot better live mixed in with the old jams.. kind of gives the live audience a break from all the chaos.

Well written review, but it doesn't sound like you know the band too well. Really think they nailed the Joy Division sound.

The thing that gets me about this is the fact that they changed from a great band to a mediocre one. Like, it'd be one thing if they went from being a great PV band into a great or even good post-punk group. But they changed from awesome PV to a mediocre, uninspired clone of Joy Division. Why would you just want to reproduce a band's sound verbatim and do it with less energy and less originality? The album should just be named The L, on account of the L they took.
