Brave is a classic in my book anyway, hopebu like it better this time! The 80s sound seems to be the problem for most people

^This is a masterpiece of neo prog rock!
|

Maybe neo prog is not my thing. This album is nice enough, but I don't hear what everyone else is loving.

Great review man. This album is actually part of my childhood, alongside Script for a Jester's Tear and various Fish solo albums, as a result of my dad continually playing them day in day out among others.

@Twig, try to start with Bitter Suite (where prog really enters), just to see if you'll have the same impression.

Will do Jethro, thanks.

My favorite Marillion album is precisely right here. Script is my second, Clutching is then and finally Fugazi. However, the group has not weak albums in the Fish era. All the the Fish era albums are classic anyway.

Yeah you're right. I've seen Marillion opening for Rush (Power Windows tour) and if memory serves well, they played that whole album save that famous Childhood's End. I don't think I dreamed that fact. Maybe they had to conclude the show that way by a lack of time...
