Ello tuna.
That jobseeker performance on jools holland is *hyperbole alert* the greatest televised live performance I have witnessed in my living years. Un-befuckinglievable.

I was on the kareoke last week and couldn't help it. Went on a rant about Brexit, hipster bastards and democracy before going into full on "now, now, now, now, now, now, no, no, no, no" went down a storm :D

@zakalwe are you on some sort of Sleaford Mods binge as of late? All I see from you nowadays is (well-deserved) Sleaford Mods love. ❤

Big time sarnie dude. I absolutely love 'em. They're exactly what has been missing of late. 'Normal people' writing 'normal songs' and conveying it sensationally. You don't get that from the art school mob.

Agree 100%, love them lots. Dunno which is my favorite though (between this and Jobseeker EP).

fuckin' arseholes that gather
no balls to do anything apart from slither
Mixed in with knowlage and no localism.
Just fake accent nicked from someone posh they might have met in Shoreditch
A vegitarian vet?
Lou fucking Reed,
whoever.
G.G fucking Allen.
Gestures of violence to anybody
who can't see or hear them
that kind of prick,
that kind of shit
Absolutely fucking top drawer.

Jason Williamson discusses ‘English Tapas’:
"Andrew walked into some random pub and saw "English Tapas" scrawled on the menu board. Underneath this beautiful coupling of words were it's components, half a scotch egg, cup of chips, pickle and a mini pork pie" It says everything about this fucking place. It's comedy, it’s make do, it's ignorant and above all, it's shit"
Bought me tickets for the gig next month. I feel 16 again. Cannot fucking wait!!!
SLEAFORD MODS SLEAFORD MODS, SLEAFORD SLEAFORD SLEAFORD MODS!!!!

It was that jools holland jobseeker performance.
Real fucking deal. I've waited my entire life for an act to manifest the norm and go on the attack without any bullshit.
Jason Williamson with all the on stage tics, hollering into the mic as if his life depended on it. Absolutely fucking sensational.
Before then I just wrote them off as a bit of a kitchen sink parody. I was totally wrong and am not afraid to say it.

thats understandable, i wrote them off for ages too
first time i heard of them was seeing a vid of them playing live at some fest, and the image of this off his face can in hand bez wannabe standing behind a laptop bobbing up and down sorta put me off

Zak I think your love for this band will survive anything...unless the Mods start covering Brand New. I think it'd take something that cataclysmic at this juncture.
Maybe Tony Blair joining the band, he's out hawking for an increased profile right now, that'd really muck up the band's chemistry.
So in conclusion, I think you're safe with these.

Fucking Blair. What an absolute total cunt. What's that 'tone? Job as an unelected leader of the EU on the line is it you fucking slimy ring piece.
As for the mods what would make me change my opinion? Endorsements, a change in attitude, pace and conformity. Happens to everyone but they really do have the spirit and they're on a bit of a winner as they've already hit middle age and kept the anger having enetered into the game on their own terms with nothing to prove

Blair has reappeared more evil than ever and it's quite amazing
I don't think the Mods will sell out, I think by the stage of this album they'd sold out as much as they needed to have a proper career and attract a decent audience, and as selling out goes that was barely at all - so they'll avoid that nonsense
