The mods haven't realeased the information on it yet, all that is known is he has left and been de-modded like he asked.

Damn, he was kool. Whatever.......this album seems like its worth buying, but I think its kinda dumb when bands do interludes in between songs.

This is one of the definitive nu-metal albums, along with Korn's s/t (which is more definitive than this, mostly because without it, this album, or any other nu-metal album, wouldn't exist).
However-
'Some of the top musicians in the world are in this band.'
Um, no. They're good, yeah, but nowhere near even spitting distance of the best. And-
'I can only listen to a few songs off this before being engulfed in a rage'
Oh man that made me laugh so damn hard.

If Korn hadn't popularized this kind of music, then none of us would have ever heard Mudvayne. And who knows, maybe they WOULD have sounded a little bit different.
Don't get me wrong, I think this album is better than anything from Korn, but it didn't have the impact of that first nu-metal album.

The musicians are good but not close to be at the top. Skills do not make good music but it's factor. Scuse me but Mudvayne riff's are not that good. Some of you might laugh but Korn Guitar work is way more intersting. The're soundwork is amazing their guitar is more of a synth but It's cool. I do not like korn of mudvayne anymore but I still have respect for those band. But L.D. 50 is NOT a classic album. Korn are in the scene since 1990... I don'T know for Mudvayne but. In fact EVERY band are influenced by Metallica. It's easy to say that. Korn play One Vs Muvayne Seek and Destroy...Who cares...their music is not close to sound like metallica. Korn Even played South of Heaven by SLayer and the Season In The Abyss Intro at Woodstock 99. Mudvayne bass playing is a lot influenced by Primus and KORN....the slap thing and the sound of the bass remind me a lot of KORN. The emotional kind of lyric are a lot influenced by KORN... WTF are you blind(Not to link the song Blind ???

Just because Korn may not have influenced Mudvayne doesn't mean they didn't influence ANYONE who formed a band in '96. Korn had released their second album that year and "ADIDAS" already had its own music video on MTV.
Although this argument is kind of pointless.

I've been on a L.D. 50 listening binge lately. Does anyone else love Prod? I thought it was an average song when I first heard it, but know it is one of my favorites on this CD.

Anyone else, I know a lot of people really disliked the first eddition, and I wanted to show them I can actually write a decent review.

I don't think this album is repetitive... Dig is different to -1, which is different to Everything and Nothing, which is different to Everthing to Gein (my favs). Simple music, maybe, but effective nonetheless.
PS Korn sucks balls. My balls.
I went and saw them here in Oz, and Hatebreed and Disturbed blew them out their asses in distain, as did I.
