Bastard Samurai, King of Days and The Cave were highlights of the last 3 records, at least for me. Some of their best work is when they take a step back for a bit.

As of right now I think this is their best album. I've never been too into their stuff before Blessed Black Wings, really liked BBW and DITC, loved SFTD and DVM, and so far Luminiferous is practically a perfect album.

Snakes is still worse personally. Will admit this has grown off me a bit while i've been digging art of self defense more lately. The Black Plot, The Falconist and The Cave are my favorite tracks on here after about 5 listens. Also I always dug Ballou's production work so thats a plus too

Snakes is definitely worse. Song wise/production wise. This holds up well with their other releases, it's not peak HoF but it's pretty fucking good.
