Thanks dudes, I'm really glad you're enjoying the review.

Doc, I'm very curious seeing how people who enjoy Draconian Times but aren't into growling will react to this one.

Thanks Piroga, Sab and Talons. You'll have a blast listening to the album.

Calc, I actually decided to write something for this one today as I was surprised too that it didn't have a review already.

Evo, "Flesh from Bone" didn't click for me from the beginning even though some might say that it's a welcome change of pace. If you do write something for this album at some point, I'll be very interested.

His growling style is different than on Gothic. Not as good, but it has been over two decades.

I thing it's more guttural on Gothic while here it's more raspy, right?

Yeah, they lack some power on here. Dead Emotion is the song with his best vocal performance (growl wise at least) imo. He sounds awesome there.

Oh yeah power is the correct word. He definitely sounds powerful on Dead Emotion. His growl at the beginning of Silent stands out too for me.

Beginning of 'Silent' is probably my favourite part vocal-wise on that album.

I like his vocals here more than before, just think they suit the music more. I never thought he could pull off growls again as he was struggling live already in 2008 so hats off to the man

"Really? I actually grew up listening to Paradise Lost"

Oh I know you're a Paradise Lost fan, but I expected to see a review from Willie or Voivod.

Great review manos and although I have yet to listened to any of their work yet, I'll definitely do so soon. I am not so sure about the growls, but I'll give it a try anyway.

The Kings are back in gradiose fashion, long live PL!

I never thought I would say this, but Sacrifice the Flame and Victim of the Past are just the kitties' titties. Really loving the mystic atmosphere as well as Nick's vocal performance on this; it's all charming, to say the least.

Nice review man, just one thing:

"As people grow older, they tend to indulge in reminisce more and more."

I feel as if this should be either "indulge in reminiscence" or "indulge and reminisce", just to make the sentence flow a little better. Aside form that, your write-up certainly has intrigued me to listen to the album sooner rather than later. I'm sure The Plague Within isn't going to rival PL's magnum opuses in the early-to-mid 90s, but from what I've heard it's in danger of coming damn close.
