Gonna go see them with Fear Factory.
As for the review, nicely put but fuck, I can't stand anything they've done besides their s/t.

thx wizard and just know that this is far better than the debut imo
if only FF also produce an honest, crunchy industrial metal record
i would be a happy man in 2015!

Don't dispute their intelligence or anything, the sound just isn't for me. Think its the Trash aspect of the band, due to me hating that type of music.

well i found it a bit more melodic and varied than demanfacture
it's still cold and menacing though
i'm really curious if you'd like it Gonzo
if you give it a try, check back

Nothing wrong with this album at all. It isn't groundbreaking stuff but it's a really well produced and decently catchy Coal Chamber album. Much like Devil Driver, Coal Chamber have always released good music. It never blows the doors off but you know what to expect. Kinda keeping a similar "stick to your guns approach" like Sevendust does but heavier. I like this album, it fits right in with their other stuff.
3.5 if it doesn't list my score.
