acanthus the part that stands out to me most, initially, is around the 26 second mark. love the industrial sound. the latter half of the song was very unexpected. really enjoy immortan's citadel too

Yep, you'll be able to spot that part in the film easily. The strings are so hopeful and uplifting, all of the score surprised me.

The thing with this movie is that the story is in the context

The film focuses on essentially one specific event for the entire run time. It's not like they cut out all of the more quiet dialogue-y parts, there just weren't any. It's literally one continuous car chase that spans the entire period of time that we are able to glimpse into "mad max world"

Which makes the fact that there are going to be three other films exciting, there's a lot they can do with the world even if this event isn't the one they choose to follow.

Not sure that I need more Mad Max, but I'll go see them based off the way Miller pulled this one off.

Hardy even publicly apologized to Miller:

“I have to apologize to you because I got frustrated and there is no way that George could have explained what he conceived in the sand while we were out there [filming]. And because of the due diligence that was required to make everything safe and to make everything that was incredibly complex so simple—which is what I saw—which is a relentless barrage of complexities simplified in a fairly linear story . . . I knew [Miller] was brilliant, but I didn’t know how brilliant until I saw it.”

Hey you too sir, it's been forever glad to see another old face around here!

I didn't pay any attention to that prior to going, definitely feel they're warranted though!

I am an extra in this movie. I am a wretched, spent a week in strathfield, sydney, Australia getting covered with 3 types of mud each morning at approx 4 am. Being an extra is a cool experience, they feed and pay you very well!

That'd be a fun experience, especially if you're a fan of the franchise/director.

can't wait to see this, I'll hopefully see it this week. If this managed to beat Ex Machina for highest rated movie of the year then it's definitely worth watching.

i think the movie is amazingly good tbh. in a league of its own. i love that they shout 'witness me!' when they know they're facing certain death

Score was a little too epic for the film. Both ruled though.
