Potsy, this somehow manages to have a diverse set of influences and is weirder than you'd think, yet is still extremely generic and fairly uninteresting.

well you have me convinced!!
to not listen ever
|
| |
because listening to music you know you'll hate is so fun
|

im not having fun

I've listened to it twice so far. I really enjoyed it! I'm into modern country really at all, but I found this to be a fun listen. It has such a wide range of styles contributing, and I like that. My favorite Zac album is still The Foundation.

Normally, I hate anything country (well, more specifically, southern/country pop), but I'm actually shocked at how good this is
"The Mango Tree" is delicious. Reminds me of old country music

So Cyg, is that the best album from last year? Sturgill Simpson?
|
| |
checking this out just because of Cyg's comments and holy shit this like Avicii and Florida/Georgia Line did a collab album, this is pretty much 80% arena pop, 20% country
|
| |
their Uncaged album was better, tbh
|
| |
@RogueNine: Sturgill Simpson is one of last year's best. If you are open to anything remotely country (and even if you're not) you should listen to it. It has a great mix of psychedelic influences, excellent vocals and lyrics, awesome musicianship in the band, basically everything you could ask for.

That new one is, uh... whew boy
