I'd love this album if it wasn't for the piss-poor lyrics. Jesus, some of them are just painful to listen to.
"I stay high all the time
Just to get by
I climb into the sky
And my eyes, they cry"
I can't even look at that without cringing. They need to draft in a lyricist for the next record.

I dunno, I rate it. I definitely take the criticisms on board, but I find the lyrics – the fact they are so straight forward and lacking any sort of poetic mastery- half the appeal!
It just keeps it simple, and lets the melodies and rhythms do the work. I don’t mind the 'I watch tv you ignore me' lyric at all. It doesn’t call for anything more majestic or smarter in my opinion.
I like it.

I'm in love with Beth's voice. I wish she'd add some more vocal layers, I just love hearing her harmonizing with herself.

They really grew up. They have their sound and you will never mix them with some other band. Summer vibes all the way. Even if you listen them in winter they produce sooo much chillwaves and dreamy sound that you feel like being in California beach

"Title track is a banger, they need to take that sound and fucking run with it. Everything else is so bland."
So true.
