could the "shoot for the stars, playing darts in the dark" line in Selling Skeletons be a reference to the song Musical Chairs by Fair to Midland, or is that just a common phrase I've somehow never heard outside of those songs? I know one of the FtM guys is in 10 Years now (at least in a touring capacity) so it doesn't seem like that much of a stretch.
great review, by the way, pos'd. I'm really conflicted on this album. it was a disappointment on first listen, grew on me a lot after the second or third, but then wore back off pretty fast. my rating bounced between a 4 and a 3.5 a few times before settling where it is now. also, the mix really irks me for some reason.
