remember hearing bits and pieces of their old stuff and i dug it, but the production on the lead single for this sounded like something i made back when i was 14 with the built-in mic on my moms computer

im genuinely surprised you feel so vehemently negative about this band as a whole wiz
What's funny is I usually like bands that do over-the-top stuff but I just cringe when they do the exaggerated Dimmu Borgir symphonics *cringe*

This band scoring more than a 2/5? What drugs are you on...

i despise symphonics in metal generally but i still think a lot of this bands older stuff is awesome

I will give this band credit, Scorn Defeat is an "ok" album but other than that, most kids with a love of guitar trems and a symphonic app on their computer could shit out music like this.

Scorn Defeat is better than okay.

It's a hair better than ok. Better?

I'm probably the only person on earth that loves Scenes From Hell, but the only Sigh album that doesn't do anything for me at all is Gallows Gallery.
Two songs into this one and I'm really digging it, although it has the strangest production I've ever heard.

The production quality's on the unapproachable side, but in the context of this album, I also think it fits pretty darn well. Dwellers in a Dream is a slightly awesome closer, have to admit.

The Tombfiller slays. This album seems pretty hard to digest though, even by Sigh standards.
