I find this release to be pretty sloppy by their standards. I much prefer Oceanic and Panopticon. Nice review though (imaginary pos)
How would you rate these guys' albums Mongi?

@Pots I'll change that first part cause I just was meaning to say they were unique, but I'd appreciate if you'd at least finish reading if you haven't already cause I really worked hard on this. As for the "hyperbole," I tried to calm down a lot cause it's always been a problem of mine, but a 5 rev is usually me gushing about the album. If you don't like that, fair enough, comes with the territory. But if you wanna point out some parts you honestly think are hyperbolic, then I'm open to adjusting shit. Or don't, do what you want.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'd rank like this:
This
Panopticon
Oceanic
WR
Celestial

it just comes off unprofessional when you bring that kind of hyperbole into a review. sounds fanboyish. ill read the rest of the review and let u know if there are anymore parts that come off like that.

Fair enough, I don't aim to sound like that of course. I sure as hell didn't half ass this. I've just grown to love this one so much which is why it ended up like that to someone who doesn't like that style. But as I said, feel free to tell me if you see other things and I'll change as I see fit.

Nice one. This is probably my second favorite after Oceanic, but it largely depends on the mood.

Panopticon 4th wtf :[

as far as hyperbole in the review goes the only other awkward moment i see is:
The memorable riffs all lead up to a mind blowing solo that leaves the listener at a loss for words.
aim for something more descriptive than expressive here
also
"kicks off with an incredible bass groove that eventually gives away to an endless fray of memorable sections"
gives *way?
"as a whole and how this album has some every fan could"
has *something
"the real payoff shows its true colors."
this is awkward, two too many signifiers
"By means of mind blowing percussion"
again id go more descriptive than expressive
"It’s also one of their most challenging and thought provoking as well"
*its also one of their most challenging and thought provoking *records* or something like that would work better. the 'as well' part is redundant.
