Awesome song but it seems to lack energy at some of the supposed to be heavy parts. I think it has nothing to do with the song writing though, it's more the mix. Definitely worth my time though.

I like War, it's the only Messugah song I've heard. I might get this.

i actually quite like this.

i love the riff at 1:53, that's friggin heavy, and the riff at 3:35. i also love the suddent change at 7:47, that's insane. they are really talented musicians, and i respect that. there's some songs i don't quite like tho, i'm not that keen on the vocals, but the lyrics are great. some really great song titles aswell, Inside Within What's Behind, and Abnegation Cecity.

they are really creative and like no other i find. i find myself listening to this when i skate, really gets me pumped up beyond belief.

I listened to the sample.

I don't like alot of the snare work. It's too much snare for my liking.

But as a whole, very good. Very headbangable. I like it.

Nice review. Never heard this, but I have Contradictions Collapse & None which I might be reviewing soon.

Condradictions Collapse and None aren't really anything like this, None is bordering on their technical sound, I'd recommend listening to Destroy Erase Improve and Nothing before listening to I, it's a bit full on.

Good review, Meshuggah are great. Don't like it as much as their other stuff, I can't wait for their new album though, they have new Ibanez 8 strings, which are apparantly far better than the Nevborn ones.

The new album is going to be different, from the demo I've heard its more like Sol Niger Within stuff.

Really, I suppose that's a progression from I then, instead of 1 really big song on 1 track, it's 1 really big song on 25 tracks

Wow. I just listened to this again. I love it now. There are a few times where it gets a little repetitive (same disease Opeth suffers from, same part for 2 minutes) but it's worth it.

CC&N was adequate. The newer stuff is much better. It was burned just to see if I would like it, but I kept getting stuck on how the vocals sound exactly like James Hetfield.

Is this EP REALLY REALLY worth it? Like is it worth more than the price of a full length album? Because that's how much it costs down under.

Not really, I burned it off my non metal head friend, he bought it whilst ridiculously stoned
