Words Fail Me is one of their best songs since Troublegum, no one else sounds quite like it

the two records before this were much better for me...drum production on this is muted and lacking, which is lame considering Neil is one of the best out there. Still glad this band is alive and kicking though, the world is a better place for it.

Drums are weaker, song writing and vocals are stronger

Haven't listening to the whole thing yet, but "still hurts" is damn good.

I am listening to this now. I have the impression they are trying hard to do another "Troublegum", it even starts the same way with "Still hurts". I have the utmost respect for this band and "Troublegum" and "Infernal Love" are up there but for me but 6 songs in, they sound tired and repetitive.

Yeah, those are defenitily their best albums. I like a lot of their stuff though. Still haven't fully listened to this one, but it didn't sound too bad.

I just received my copy on vinyl. Well after a brief first listen, to me is seems nothing like Troublegum, nor Infernal Love. The music is not a disaster, but the sound on this one is just bad. Quite dissapointed so far. Well, maybe after some more spins it will grow on me. BTW, have they run out of Troublegum and Infernal Love vinyl copies?
