Remember how I told you I didn't want to mix Ranger with what I was reviewing?
Well, it seems Murphy thought otherwise and put 'em side by side... : P

Great review manosg. Very concise.

Honestly what interests me the most is the "analog sound" you described. Lots of modern metal bands make great music, but it all gets overwhelming with ridiculously loud mixes. Will def check this out, as I remember Knights of Darkness being pretty rad last time I listened.

Thanks man. Yeah the album doesn't sound as loud or compressed.

Vocalist reminds me of Steve "Zetro" Souza, but a tad less annoying.

This slays, so far.

Zetro is far from annoying.

Vocals are growing on me a lot, will probably end up buying this.

"One can place their lone EP among the ‘80s speed metal finest and still hold its own"

put "it would" between 'and' and 'hold its own'
