Honestly I think this is the worst of his 3 because it has so much emphasis on his really generic metal instrumental side and less on the catchy, almost dream poppy bits that he mixed with his fusion style. Definitely nowhere near as unique as either of his 2.

i've heard Sweet Nothings and was very impressed

agreed after 1 listen... not bad but not as good as the first two EPs.

Although this is still good, Plini/Sithu Aye's EP "I" is fucking incredible. Surprised I haven't seen a review for it on here.

kgold I'm pretty sure there was one. There is a different section of the site for "Plini/Sithu Aye" and that's where it is
EDIT: I'm wrong. I could swear at one point one was up though.

imo Paper Moon is the best song of the whole cycle

The syncopated main riff after the title-track's overture is quite possibly the best moment of the whole trilogy in my opinion. Although this is not as brilliant as Sweet Nothings, and definitely less catchy, I think it's more interesting and mature as a whole than Other Things. To me, only Paper Moon is not especially inventive, although greatly executed, and the other two songs have some of his most compelling melodies and arrangements. And Minnemann's drumming is briliant.

Minnemann is unbelievable here, I can't visually imagine how he moves his arms.
