sad thing is I listen to barely any metal so if I listened to this I'd prolly be like "what's the big deal? sounds fine to me..."
|
| |
if you like bad music in general probably
|
| |
the fall of ideals is really fun and has aged well
|
| |
it really has
best cleans on a metalcore album too probably
|
| |
yea itd probly be heavy for your gnr jammin' ears
bust seriously it's great, guitar solos rip and the production is so lush and perfect
then they just stopped caring i guess and it sucks

What if I Was Nothing will still be the worst thing they ever made

Great review by the way

"[on the fall of ideals] the production is so lush and perfect"
haven't listened to it in years but I remember it as totally ashen and lifeless
anyway I'm really excited about this one. crap films and music are curiously invigorating imo

Nice, light review here GB. This sounds terrible, kind of want to check it just to see how bad it is. Still love The Fall of Ideals.

i just listened and "lush and perfect" was definitely a ridiculous claim. still it's much better than most modern metalcore, not too compressed or triggered and the mix leaves some breathing room

Nice review. Thought this would be pretty bad but is it worse than the last record? The singles at least had better production.
