Great review, especially for a first so pos'd. I'd consider putting capital letters on all the song titles, "Warrior without a war" looks strange when most of the others are capitalised.
Also, "Petri's arrousing savagery." I hope you meant 'rousing'.
But yeah great review man, just be careful not to make them into quasi-track-by-tracks because they can become overlong and convoluted.

kind of agree with noctus generally about this band, i don't really think the first two LPs are leaps and bounds ahead of some of the later stuff. wouldn't necessarily disagree that the s/t is the "best" but i've definitely played from afar a lot more, and i would definitely put from afar and probably victory songs above iron.
that said unsung heroes was a snore fest during the one listen i gave it and i can't really see myself giving this a shot :/

Just listened to this first time. My first impression is that it's not as bad as I was expecting but not very brilliant either. "Heathen Horde" made me turn up the volume whereas "Two of Spades" and "Neito Pohjolan" left me just asking wtf. I'm about to rate this 3.0 and I'm afraid it won't get better with time.
