It wont come as a surprise when it happens, but getting contrib at the same time as TLS/Johnny/Oranges helps a lot since everyone always weighs in their opinions on new reviews. It's a great little group that got promoted all at once.
Yeah, "a unique" is definitely correct, that's why I left it unchanged.

@Sowing, when you find some time, check out that review for The Sky Life that Ponton put together. It's a breathtaking album and I can very safely guarantee that you'll love it.

Pre-emptive 4.5. I love her. Nevermind I don't like this as much anymore.

Thanks for the rec, I'll check it out because things
have been a little slow lately.
Oh and very nice review obviously, first post-
promotion.

Great review. The youtube track is good. I'll check the whole thing out.

Gorgeous review, I really didn't care much for her last album, even though everyone else seemed to like it.
Maybe I'll come around to this.
Lookin forward to more reviews from you, now that you're contrib and all ;)

I'm not digging this as hard as her last two albums, but her voice is still incredible as always.

I haven't thoroughly listened through her discog, but from what I understand this is far more sugary than her usual. Looking forward to checking out 'The Brothel' though

Excellent review CTD, very smooth read with great flow. I'd pos if I could.

this is interesting
edit: some of the vocal melodies in "Delirious" weirdly remind me of those in TMBG's "Experimental Film." Thanks to Homestar Runner for making me realize that.

So many of the songs have a weirdly menacing undertone to it. That creeping orchestral line that edges in and out of 'Delirious' puts me on edge

I'm just going to say screw it and give this a 3.5. Haven't listened to it that closely, but it's worth at least that rating at this point imo.
