I remember this being good, don't know how I'd feel about it these days though.
Good review.

There should be a mechanism to stop multiple reviews being posted if its supposedly not allowed.
It's an unwritten rule we all abide by, everyone deserves the chance to have their review seen on the homepage and so by posting multiple reviews in a short space of time, you're being a bit unfair.

Yeah it's just a courtesy thing. Pretty much every new, over-exuberant reviewer gets the same speech. We on Sputmik
also tend to have fairly flat or sarcastic humors, so don't take our lack of smiley emoticons to mean we're intending to
appear rude. >:]

I kind of liked this album. Haven't listened to it in a while, but I don't think I'd bother going back to it any time soon. For every good song, such as "There and Back Again" and "What About Now" (which are easily my favourites on the album), there's a bad/mediocre one following soon after, I couldn't stand "It's Not Over" for how generic and uninspired it was (also for the fact that it was on the radio almost EVERY SINGLE DAY back then). Overall, I'd probably give this album a 2 or 2.5, nothing special, but there are some quality tracks that help put it over trite junk by Seether and Nickelback.

Thumbs up from me. This is a good review. But, like others have mentioned, take your time. You could have further edited and proofread your last few reviews, which would have given previous front-page listed reviews time to get proper acknowledgement (as opposed to being shuffled aside because of your need to tell us how amazing Nickelback and Daughtry are). If you're looking for solid mainstream rock, check out Sevendust or Chevelle, they're both SO much better than these two bands. Animosity and Wonder What's Next respectively are among the best mainstream rock records I've ever heard. Give them a shot if you haven't already (Daughtry was even featured on a song by Sevendust called "The Past", it's a pretty solid track, but "Inside" and "Hope, featuring Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge fame, are much better IMO).

Hey man, great review, much better than the nickelback review, have a pos. However, tuna and the others are right: at max, two reviews per week. Reviewing is fun, and when I first started, I put out a ton of reviews per week. But everybody deserves to have a front page spot, and you do look like somewhat of a prick if you take that spot, so just keep that in mind. But yeah, improved review, good work.

"at max, two reviews per week"
I've never heard this before. usually you just wait until your last review is bumped off the front page before submitting another.
|
| |
Yeah Johnny that works as well haha, normally I just put up two per week.
|
| |
Yeah I mean Cap'n Dooright put out a review like every other day for six months. And then he got burned out or w/e and stopped altogether :3

I'd like to mention that this is a decent review. If you're going to keep writing about bands like
Nickelback and Daughtry, at least keep up the good work. People will neg anyway just because they disagree,
but those people have an average IQ of like 65, so just shake it off.

"at max, two reviews per week"
it's fine to post more than two per week, just don't do it too soon that you clog the front page
u had to use that T swizz reference didn't u sowing

Pos because it's well written. This may be boring for me but at least better than the abomination of Baptized.
