idk, I see your angle ovdeath, but saying you have to wait "6 months" to 5 and album makes as much sense as saying you have to wait 6 months to 3 an album. tastes change; some albums grow on you, some grow off of you. I wouldn't rebuke a guy for giving a new album a 4.5 and say "a 4.5 for a new album?! how do you know it's still gonna be a 4.5 6 months from now?".

that being said, ovdeath is more or less stating his own personal stance on the rating system, so no need to totally white knight the guy

only album i jumped the gun with a 5 on was the new teitanblood, and even then i didn't 5 that until like 7 months after it was released.

Half of the hate they get is unnecessary as Sponce is a good vocalist. It's their songwriting that's opinable.
