now this is a nice review, posd for the obvious concentration on quality of music and minimal reference to other works

"The production, handled by none other than bass player Adam Getgood, allows each instrument the breathing room it needs to stand out in the mix and honestly has never sounded crisper
if this isn't a run-on I think its about a syllable away from one, idk really lol"
That isn't a run-on sentence.
Omega kicks off with “Reprise,” an intro track which reprises the melody from “A Black Minute” off of Alpha and features some of Sotelo’s whinier singing that I’m personally not a big fan of. dont say "personally not a fan of" just call it bad, honestly. also this is def a run-on.
That isn't a run-on sentence. Also what kind of criticism is that? Saying you're "personally not a fan" of something is absolutely not the same thing as flat-out qualifying it as "bad."
Luckily, the song only lasts about a minute and a half... waking the listener from the coma that Alpha might’ve induced upon them. a minute and a half long song resulting in a coma? thats beyond hyperbole haha :P
The sentence is implying that Alpha was coma-inducing, not the minute-long track. "the coma that Alpha might’ve induced"
"The guitar work utilized on the track signals a bit of a return to form, boasting one of the best solos the band have achieved yet on Juggernaut. the band have achieved yet on juggernaut= On juggernaut, overly wordy."
Changing the sentence to what you're suggesting actually changes the entire meaning. The way he states it, it reads that this solo is one of the best that the band have achieved yet in their career, and that it's on this album. Changing it to only "on Juggernaut" just implies that it is the best solo they have achieved on this album, not in general.
The next track “Priestess” wouldn’t have sounded out of place on Alpha, being the only ballad on Omega. The only difference is they actually sound pretty good here. they=plural you are talking about one ballad
"They" is referring to the band, not the song.
"Omega kicks off with “Reprise,” an intro track redundant"
It's not redundant, actually. Saying "an intro track" adds insight to the purpose that the song is serving, qualifying it as a short, prelude-type track that is merely meant to set the stage for the next track.

You wrote a nice review man. This is a good example of how all criticism is not good criticism and sometimes you should have faith in your own writing ability. Think critically about the suggestions people make and decide if they are actually warranted. Basically all of the suggestions made in that post were either misinterpretations of what you were trying to convey or they were just things that are totally up to your own writing style and not inherently wrong in any way.

Thank you. I did make a few small changes based on a few of those points but I don't think most of those sentences were run ons as much as they were just somewhat "wordy." And yes, I didn't want to make any of the edits that were going to change the intended meanings of the sentences.

Waiting for my lyric booklet so I can read along with the songs. I've picked up a few details about the character but I can't say I've grasped much of the story as a whole yet.

It doesn't sound like a story at all from the lyrics I can hear. Sounds like normal personal experience lyrics honestly.
