I expected the community to start to turn on this album relatively soon. Oh well, I'm still pretty impressed. I like TTTS for the nostalgia, but beyond that I've never really been amazed by anything they've done or really taken them seriously.

This album changed that, its a seriously diverse and seriously fun romp. I feel like their sound went somewhere really nice with this one.

No one is saying they're genius masterminds of music who deliver compositions from the astral planes written by the gods themselves... That's maudlin of the well and kayo dot. What this album IS though is an evolution from a pretty laughable and generic style into something different and entertaining.

I...think? The decent vocabulary on the first track had me fooled. I'm just surprised that this many people actually give a single shit about this.

Well I mean, if you have a synth line that straight up sounds like The Macarena in your opening track and

have shit production, you'd be fooled pretty easily.

So, you get halfway through the album, and bail out, and rate it.

Maybe you should finish the album so that rating's more honest. Yeah, the album is shit and has some of the worst production I've heard since Alaska, but come on man.
