Really enjoy the vibe of this album; it feels "amateurish" and like the band is having a good time.

That's the true art of jamming my friend.

I jammed their earlier stuff in the '90s. Lee Dorrian's love for the heavy metal creators is all over the place.
They've toured with Sabbath in 92 - Dehumanizer Tour.

"I jammed their earlier stuff in the '90s."

I see you were into the underground heavy metal scene right ?

"Lee Dorrian's love for the heavy metal creators is all over the place."

Yeah, if you read some of his interviews he never forgets to pay his respects to the old timers.

"They've toured with Sabbath"

That is also correct. The band at the time was touring with one guitarist while searching for Lehan's

replacement. Iommi witnessed the band playing and told them they sounded better with one guitarist. That's

all they wanted to hear. They stayed with one guitarist until the end.

They weren't a completely underground band. Their debut had a nice promo and Lee Dorrian was a well-known character because he had been vocalist of Napalm Death.
But yeah, I was into underground heavy metal scene back in the '90s.

I bet it was a real challenge to find albums from underground bands back in those days.

More in the 80's...at that time it was more difficult to find underground albums. In the '90s heavy metal became more mainstream due to Metallica's Black album and Guns N' Roses.

How did you choose what album to buy ?

I guess the artwork played a role in your final choice, haha

Never judge a book by its cover, my friend :]
Some radios and magazines helped to promote the underground scene. The word of mouth and tape/cassette sharing also played an important role.

MTV was also a good source for new music and especially shows like Beavis and Butthead or Headbangers Ball.
