You'll be disappointed when you realise he's not a hot korean cutie but an emaciated, pasty white guy tho

about 10 minutes into this and getting ridiculously bored. the music is technical and great etc., not knocking it, just can't seem to enjoy it much. sounds like 90% of other classical i've heard. i like the really affecting stuff like henryk gorecki and arvo part.

stopped at around 20 mins. i'm sure it's great for numerous reasons, but it does nothing for me

Classical can always use some more exposure.

You are all deeply repressed serial killers, how can you even hear this music over the piercing sound that's caused when you sharpen your blades. The FBI should be running background checks on everyone digging classical

This is NOTHING against the music

I'm not a huge fan of the Mozart I've heard, more partial to Tchaikovsky and Chopin if I'm listening to older classical, but saying it's in minor as opposed to his other works made me want to check it out. Review is brilliant

How can Arvo Part be affecting or melodramatic, I thought every piece of his was peaceful floaty stillness for twenty minutes.

Admittedly I've only listened to one of his CDs

no, part dabbles in minimalism (his masterpiece, tabula rasa, was composed using very little), but it definitely evokes emotion
