its kind of funny tbh, the dude produces the majority of his own stuff on here, and he has a couple Thundercat feats here too...
but there is this bandwagon mentality from self-loathing caucasian hipsters who listen to lots of shitty modern hip hop and don't actually know anything about the genre saying he is whack because he is young, white, and kind of a hood-rat...
even tho the majority of the artists they like are infinitely more dishonest, hood-rattish, and whack and they cant even produce their own tracks
i mean yeah mac has got a lot of bad stuff too but he's fuckin 23 yrs old and this mixtape is actually rad and he produced most of it himself and got thundercat on that shit that counts for something
thats my mac miller rant. im not a big fan of the dude but i will always defend him just because people cant think for themselves and he doesn't deserve the blind hatred he receives.

Mac Miller is a jagoff. And he partially deserves the hatred. He puts out this persona of being hood and gangster when he comes from a 1% family and grew up in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the Burgh. He's the antithesis of a hoodrat, his tattoos and songs about weed doesn't change the fact he's a trust fund baby. To top this all off he's a spoiled brat. He played a show last year at Stage AE, a venue my brother works at that's owned by the Steelers. They gave him a free jersey with his name on it as a gift. He came in the next day with his manager and complained that they didn't like the jersey, they wanted a retro custom made jersey instead and a retro Pirates jersey as well. The kicker is his manager is his own mother.... the dude is a spoiled prick who has talent but will never erase the fact he's a shit human being.
