First track was decent, last track was decent, but the rest of this was fucking boring and

REALLY disappointing.

The guitar line in the commercial interruptions on the iTunes stream topped anything actually

on the album. How embarrassing...

I enjoyed this a lot.

I'm pretty disappointed Mike and Nicole weren't a part of this because I really enjoyed their

harmonies from Oceania.

This is a great album in its own right though.

>Unlike the clunker opener to Oceania in “Quasar”

uhhhhhhhhhhh...well then! Guess we have to agree to disagree.

Nice review, regardless. I'll have to give this a spin ASAP.

I wouldn't call Quasar a clunker but Tiberius is much better as a song

Might not be the best Smashing Pumpkin work, but this album is certainly refreshing. "Tiberius" "Drum + Fife" and "Dorian" really standout as exceptional tracks. I'm also glad I wasn't the only one who though "Being Beige" was unoriginal and dull...luckily that's the only unimpressive song. Still love any new & original rock albums; this one definitely delivers.

I agree. This is sweet. It's pretty rockin'.
