Every Riot record is worth it, but on top of the list lie Thundersteel, Privilege of Power, and Immortal Soul.
This album is great and worth checking/buying, it's just not on the same page with the aforementioned ones.

Even though I'm not a fan of the Forrester era I don't think that any of their releases could be labeled as bad.

I'm going to get this only for the album cover. I mean, it's amazing.

The cover feels like Riot's version of Somewhere in Time.

I'm listening to it now and it's almost as awesome as the album cover :P. Nothing beats the album cover.
"Bring The Hammer Down" is my favorite so far.
I think I'll end up rating this a 4 or a 3,5. I'll judge after a few more listens.

There are a few not-that-great songs but it's really holding on pretty well for me. First two tracks plus Take Me Back are my favorites right now.

Those not-that-great songs are like that only in comparison to Immortal Soul which was filler-free. Otherwise, the album is awesome.

Immortal Soul is crazy yeah, the opener alone is worth the whole package.
