Review is good but take out that pesky "I'll be honest." Also this is just me, but personally I'd only give something a 1 if it has no
redeemable qualities and you clearly mention some, but that's just me like I said.

@MarkyMark: Gracias.

@Mongi: MEH. I'll be honest, though: I'll take it out if you think it's too pesky. And yeah, this does have

a few redeeming qualities, but here's the thing: There's not a single good song on here. There's only nice

bits and pieces here and there.

@emester: Fucked with a knife.

I don't know if I would take out the "I'll be honest", if only for the fact that it flows well with the "I could preface this review..." in the first paragraph. It just reads easily and conversationally. Just my two cents, though.

Good I hate dislike that phrase in revs haha but the other bit with just a suggestion. I fucking hate this type of music so I'll stay way away.

a 1/5 = a 2/10 (sorry for the obvious point, but still, it's not a zero-star rating). there can be a couple 'good points' yet still be deserving of a 1/5 rating, imo.

I came here to see what sort of conclusion you found to be superior to my suggestion

"Because with Abandon Ship, Knife Party have established the new standard for soulless, vapid club music. Congratulations, gentlemen. You’ve somehow managed to make Skrillex look appealing."

you didn't disappoint(:

Yeezus guys, MAKE UP YOUR MINDS. I settled on a compromise by replacing it with "In all honesty". And yes Mongi, you will probably hate this as much as me, and I like some artists in the genre.

@Johnny I actually agree. It's not worthy of a 0 or a 0.5, but it's still bad enough to be considered "awful".

@Shark Thanks. Your idea wasn't bad, I just felt like it was a little too ranty.

@emester I am so, so sorry.

Sure, 100% No Modern Talking wasn’t all that bad, even if it was just dumb party
music you could get lost in
.
I still have a problem with this though,

if you can get lost in the music, it's not really that bad to begin with

I can see why you would dislike it, but at the same time, I can't really think of anything better to replace it without disrupting the flow of the review.
