This needs a few more proofreads because some of the grammar is really obviously bad. There's a thread in the forums somewhere where you can post your review and have people proofread it for you before you post it to the main site. I suggest looking into that.

This wasn't a great review but it's certainly not terrible. You just need more practice is all.



Anyway, the album itself has become such an easy target for people to hate but I really can't understand it. For me, it's the best of the decade and it would have been a 5 if they'd cut the interlude tracks (which, in my opinion, drag the album down a lot).

Bit more refinement with the review would have helped it a lot, you talk about about the textures and tones which is great but just more substance in general would make it a much more interesting read. Still you're on the right track, album is killer.

Some of your sentences need work. Saying "I was just getting into less mainstream music last year." reads awkwardly, especially as a lone sentence. You should rather say, "I was just getting into less mainstream music last year when I read Pitchfork's Top 50 Albums of the Year list".
