That is one well written review right there.

Great review Mark, there's too many good reviews on the front page at the moment damn. "have a death grip on it now" I see what you did there ;).
"waited a long time for their time" you say 'time' twice in quick succession, reads kinda strangely to me. Otherwise, this review is flawless.

Thanks, my friend. Long time no talk, how are you?

Not a whole lot. Just trying to curb my obsessive music buying for a little while, ha ha, you?

Lol nice. I'm good, just working a ton. Trying to find time to get back into reviewing.

Yeah, your job sounds pretty demanding. At least, from what I remember you telling me about it.
I did see Anberlin Tuesday night with a couple of friends. It was pretty great. Really glad I got to see them on their farewell tour.

That sounds amazing, man. What was their set list like?
|
| |
It was pretty good. They did a piss poor job on the vocal microphones, tho. I could hardly hear them singing at all.
They played, from what I remember, Godspeed, Paperthin, Unwinding Cable Car, Resistance, Feel Good Drag, We Are Destroyer, Dismantle-Repair, Readyfuels, Impossible, We Owe This To Ourselves (which sounds way better live than it does on the recording), Self Starter, Somone-Anyone, Other Side, Never Take Friendship Personal, and some more. They played close to an hour and a half or so.
I was hoping for Little Tyrants, but they still played a ton of stuff I wanted to hear.

I love Impossible, NTFP, Unwinding Cable Car, and Dismantle.Repair. Those are some of my favorite songs of all time, really. I bet that was fantastic.

Agreed there, that's weird.
|

Oh, yeah. They encored it, ha ha. I forgot about that.
You know, I kinda forgot how awesome Dismantle, Repair was until I heard them play it. That pre-chorus/chorus is just a fantastic combo.
That sucks, Atari. How come you didn't go? I drove 3 and a half hours with my buds to see them. I was dedicated to see them before the quits happens. I had only seen them once before for a half hour as an opening act.

i don't really have an excuse lol. A couple months ago I saw they were coming to town and i was stoked about it but the time got away from me and the next thing I know they've already come and gone haha. I should have just bought tickets when I noticed they were coming, but I'm a procrastinator :3
