Danger could be interpreted as a lot of things, but a love song seems most likely. The lyrics certainly sound like they're directed at a significant other.

Oh wow, I completely disagree - I mean I guess this had a couple more stand out moments, but The Gray Chapter was a FAR better representation of them as a band and the consistency on that album destroys this one imo. But I guess it's all opinions.
And they did promise the same thing for this one? Shit, guess I missed that - my bad.
