Hmmmm, wasn't considering St. Vincent when I said the best pop album thing, I guess I'd call her indie pop or noise pop (although I honestly think I do like this album a little better than SV tbh). Not in the same category as Swift's music to me. Maybe I should change the wording, I didn't mean to be controversial when I said that.

I can think of three off the top of my head...this one, Ariana Grande's "My Everything" and Lana's "Ultraviolence". Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" too, I guess that Michael Jackson Zombie album. That's what I was considering when I made the best pop album distinction. Idk, I like the album a lot regardless of who or what you're comparing it to.

I just listened to this to see what all the hype is about when it comes to Taylor Swift. There were a couple of tracks on here which I thought were decent (wont listen to them again though) but other than that I found it to be incredibly underwhelming and monotonous. At this stage of her career, I expected more from this and I got sick of the lyrics really fast. I noticed that she has never had a relationship last more than a few months which must explain why she never gets bored/runs out of material.
