Least it's better than AHIG. More interesting anyway.

Like i say, because it's 14 tracks there is plenty to hate, but still a nice amount to enjoy.

I guess this is slightly more consistent than AHIG, but AHIG has a few tracks that I like a lot. There aren't any on here that are above a 3/5 on their own.

A clear contender for the hall of puns.

I think they peaked at Vol. 3 and had the space to grow, but they should have left the band after
the aftermath of AHIG and Paul Grey's death.

Best review of this yet. Spot-on and to-the-point.

Listened to this again yesterday. The more I hear this, the more it yells "obligatory".

Will have to give this a few more spins, but on repeat listens it's not holding up well tbh. Might drop my rating a full point.

Btw, Corey's vocals are the show-stealer. obv this isn't his best performance, but he's still got another 5 years left in him with the energy he brings to this album.

The only thing I hate with this album, is the mixing/production.. this album could be so much heavier..

the songs are structured that way, but man the production is just bad.. suprisingly, I find the guitars in

The Devil in I to be to most heaviest on the album - the sound is the closest to IOWA guitars.. and this

is way less Stone Sour sounding album than AHIG, which is always a good thing (I really like Stone Sour,

but Slipknot should be always souding like Slipknot) anyway, this album is so much more better than AHIG

and I can find still enjoyment even on repeating listening.. Cluster is going to be great on concerts and

festivals.. and this album has some of the greatest Slipknot songs - Sarcastrophe, AOV, Killpop, Nomadic,

Cluster, the Negative One, IRIWYW, the Burden.. unlike AHIG which has maybe Gehenna, Sulfur, AHIG and

Butcher's Hook

I was not expecting anything great or good, but yeah, this is one of my favorite albums of this year.. now

I'm expecting great stuf from Ne Obliviscaris

"no matter how flawed, stifled and confused .5 is an album, it’s going to succeed massively."

Do they still have that much pull?
I'm not entirely sure they do.

I'm surprised by a lot of these reviews. Just started streaming a couple minutes ago. Not really sure what was up with Cory's vocals on that first song. Listening on some great speakers and what I heard worries me.
