kool, we are in agreement with one thing then

idk i just thought their last 2 albums were rather poppy as well. 'Rest to get Better' is awesome

Sorta, my point is that L&F and YNE kinda had a more sporadic feel instrumentally wise, you know? Here it seems like they've toned down the guitars to support the melodies more. Which gives it more of a pop feel for me, idk maybe its just the production. Plus sweet resistance, thats like the poppiest song they've ever made

I think the guitars were definitely toned down, but that probably has a lot to do with Torre being the sole guitarist now. There's whole sections of songs with only one guitar track.

i'm very much enjoying this album. it's simple, punchy, and definitely a step forward from Young New England (which i liked but never quite loved). the harmonies on "Loneliness Burns" certainly show maturation, definitely. i think it's one of my favourite cuts on the album and with the overall sway, it feels like "Hazy p. II".

Eh, it's okay. Really like the first track. At this point they will never get close to L&F again.

Eh, the quality of L&F is overstated, it's a fantastic album, probably a 4.5, but I don't think there was anywhere they could go with that sound afterwards. They covered everything in the one album.

Maybe. This doesn't quite top it but definitely better than YNE

Misser kicks this band's ass so hard.

Misser's album is good but L&F is better and
seeing as Transit got better after Tim left I
wouldn't be shocked ifhe's the one who's been
worn out.

I didn't like Distancing as much as the LP to be honest.

Damn, every song on this album is catchy. Love the laid-back/carefree vibe on each song.

betray why u no rate this, it needs another 4 ;)
man the first vocal bit in "The Only One" where he sings
"Here's where, here's where the horror hits home, I've figured it all out on my own"
i mean the way he sings it is sticking in my head enough that I keep rewinding to hear it again
dunno
