apparently this was supposed to be a compilation album... that makes a lot of sense. Documentary 2 comes out in January

review was definitely too negative though, im not nearly as angry with this album now that I know it was originally a compilation. theres actually some excellent-superb shit on here, you just gotta skip the 7 or so trash tracks.

That's cool, for me if an album is messy that's a major gripe for me and the rating usually suffers pretty heavily

For example I took the shitty and out-of-place tracks off MMLP2 and made my own playlist, and if that album existed it'd be a 3.5. But the album as it was released is a chore to sit through, thus my 2.5 rating

I guess for me an album rating is about how enjoyable the whole album is to listen to from beginning to end, to each their own though
