I really really like Ready & Willing.

Still need to listen to this.
Radiosurgery was a great summer listen- poppy and sugary, but that's how I always saw NFG.
They surprised me with Tip Of The Iceberg/ISOH so nice to hear that this record still has a few hardcore elements.

thanks for the compliments everyone!

I've never been a fan of these guys, really. This is a good review though.

So could this be considered a proper follow-up to Catalyst?
Coming Home was a good album, but sounded more like a last-album-before-indefinite-hiatus or something (think Blink-182 self-titled). Really matured yet surgary pop-rock.
Haven't been into NFG since Catalyst.

I wouldn't really say it's a follow-up to Catalyst, but it's definitely more similar to that album than their last one.

Keen to give this a spin, haven't heard anything since Sticks And Stones.
Really great review, I'd give constructive criticism but you nailed it (;

Umm, this album may be better than Radiosurgery, but Resurrection is not even remotely close to as good as Not Without a Fight, Coming Home, Catalyst or anything before that. Any long time NFG fan would not find this even remotely close to as good as their older stuff. I've been listening to them since 2000, and this is a boring, non-catchy, over-attempt to make a good record. Their best days are behind them....and it's sad.
