The hype is real. I was fully expected to be disappointed (I haven't enjoyed a Weezer album since the decent Maladroit) and there was so much hype I expected to be let down. Instead I was surprised song after song about just how good this record was. 3rd or 4th best battling with Green. The album could have been released directly after Pinkerton and before Green and fit perfectly.

Nice review man. Haven't listened to the record yet, picking it up Tuesday. I've heard a few tracks off it (YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME NO MORE CLEOPATRA), and what I've heard sounds good, but then again, they've never had a record where I disliked every song (even Raditude.) Looking forward to giving it a front to back listen soon.
