great chronic smoking album with these types of beats and you can tell the reason DOOM partnered with
Nehru is hes a substantial lyricist and not a gibberish 'flow' rapper

modern day gimmicks of focusing solely on flow and technically-complex rhyming.
and I don't find any of these tracks bad at all, except the Bishy Bish bonus track, that shit sucks

because i don't like it. the beats sound uninspired and nehru (who i usually enjoy as a rapper) sounds like he is trying too hard to emulate Dooms rapping style and fails miserably at it, not to mention that every time he tries to sing it is the most painful sounding thing in the world

how can you say hes emulating DOOM's rapping style? DOOM is all about multi-syllable rhyming, mumbling almost incoherently and using obscure references, Nehru does single syllable rhyming almost all the time, his references are well known and he has a clear delivery.
some of the beats on here are so damn good too. singing was pretty bad but whatever

@Nikkolae huh? whats wrong with that? describing the skits to be about "self help and meditation" is completely trivializing the actual point of the skits. They actually work really well on this album and lots of times DOOM skits are the only flaw he has.

yeah but compared to his solo stuff it sounds to me like he's really trying to emulate DOOM's lazy mumbling thing and it just doesn't work for me. And the beats just didn't cut it for me. Glad we can agree that the singing is terrible though
